The best way to know is that you put your resume on various top jobsites with B.S. Chemistry highlighted. After this, cool...relax and let people view your resume and offer jobs. You will come to know automatically through offers in your mailbox.

You should maximize potential by getting a post-graduate degree. You can go into teaching, (check with public schools. Perhaps you could substitute teach for now.) Check hospitals and research institutions to see criteria for medical lab work. Also, you could work toward being a Pharmacist, DNA Specialist, Forensic Scientist. Kris Z's information is also right on mark. Think outside of the box.

Nope, I bounced around from crappy job to crappy job after school, but then I applied for a laboratory job at the local wastewater treatment plant and now I am the Industrial Waste Specialist. This means that I still work with Chemistry, but this chemistry is different in that I am working with big corporations to help keep them from polluting the sewers.
