Hi,

You should go and apply for the job anyway. Don't let lack of experience stop you from interviewing. Since you know C and Java- you know object orineted programming. SQL is very simple.

Do the interview and show that you are a smart, confident person with a "get the job done" attitude and you should have no problems.

Get him on the phone, it is too easy for him to ignore your email if he doesn't like what you have to say. Tell him you'd like to meet with him, then tell him in the interview that you are willing to learn any skills you don't have. You will have a better chance of getting the job if he can meet you in person. If he is a Recruiter, he may know of another position that you would be a good fit for, if this one doesn't work out.

Hi,

Try to check out the Axiom website and find out any matching job openings that suits you. If you find a better match, say that you might be a better fit for so and so position. Even otherwise I think you should apply for the job, since most employers might be willing to modify, adjust the post if you impress them that you can learn and adapt easily.

Good Luck.
