I live in Arizona and our employer requires us to wear a special color uniform. Are they obligated to purchase us a uniform?

Yes sir. They are obligated to purchase the uniform. This wouldn't apply if you were required to wear basic black pants and white shirt that can be purchased anywhere. Be sure to keep all receipts of any purchases (socks, shoes, tools, and cleaning of the uniform, etc...) for the upcoming tax year since it is deductible.

No, they are not obligated to buy the uniforms. In the military, do you think the military gets free uniforms? No, they are obligated to wear them, and pay for them. The military does give the soldiers a uniform allowance, but that is part of their normal paycheck.
