almost my whole life I've been playing video games, its become a major part of me (besides my girl lol)
but unfortunately i get nothing from but trophies and achievements (you will know what i mean if u own a ps3 or xbox). i currently work at McDonalds and a full time college student, yet i still make sure i have enough time to play some mortal kombat or some halo. I really dont want to be in college and im just doing it to make my parents happy. however, my dream job is to become a video game tester, any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated

I don't think game testers make that much...

You should aim higher. Make games. Create. And then you can play them as well.

You'd need a 4 year degree in some IT related technical field. And by the way, a video game tester doesn't just sit around and play video games all day. The job is much more complex than that.

You can find a few ways to get paid testing the newest video games. Game companies will mail you their new video games, new consoles and products for you to test. In return for your opinion, they will pay you for your review. The hardest part is getting a list of the legit companies.
